Sharing a common border with the City/County of San Francisco, Daly City is known as the "Gateway to the Peninsula." San Bruno Mountain, with 2,063 acres of diverse parkland, offers spectacular views of the entire Bay Area and the Pacific Ocean. Lake Merced Golf and Country Club are located within Daly City and the Olympic Club-Lakeside and the San Francisco Golf Club are adjacent to Daly City's northern boundary.
